1. Warranty coverage
Dendo Systems Pty Ltd ("Dendo Systems") warrants that its motors and control systems for window coverings ("Products") will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery ("Warranty Period").
2. Warranty terms
2.1. Duration and start date
- The warranty period is five (5) years
- Warranty period commences on the date of delivery of the Products
- Proof of purchase and delivery date must be provided for warranty claims
2.2. Scope of coverage
This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Material defects
- Functional failures under normal use
- Component failures under specified operating conditions
2.3. Remedy
At its sole discretion, Dendo Systems will:
- Repair the defective Product
- Replace the defective Product with a new or refurbished unit
- Issue a credit for the purchase price of the defective Product
The choice of remedy will be determined by Dendo Systems based on factors including but not limited to:
- Nature of the defect
- Age of the Product
- Product availability
- Cost effectiveness of the solution
3. Exclusions and limitations
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation
- Damage from misuse, abuse, or negligence
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from environmental factors beyond specified operating conditions
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Products used outside their intended application
- Damage caused by improper maintenance
- Damage from power surges or electrical irregularities
- Products with removed or altered serial numbers
4. Warranty claim process
4.1. Claim submission
To make a warranty claim, please contact Dendo Systems via email with the following:
- Provide product details including serial number
- Provide proof of purchase and delivery date
- Describe the defect or malfunction
- Provide installation and usage details as requested
4.2 Product return
- Return authorization must be obtained before shipping
- Products must be properly packaged for return shipping
- Customer is responsible for shipping costs to Dendo Systems
- Dendo Systems will cover shipping costs for repaired/replacement products
5. Additional terms
5.1 Transfer
This warranty is fully transferable
5.2 Liability limitations
- Dendo Systems' maximum liability is limited to the original purchase price of the Product
- Dendo Systems is not liable for:
- Installation costs
- Removal costs
- Consequential damages
- Business interruption
- Loss of profits
- Incidental damages
5.3 Additional rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. This warranty does not affect any statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law.
